Scripture Focus:
Colossians 2:6–7 — “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him…” (NIV)
Every lasting movement starts deep.
Before God sends us to the world, He strengthens what’s beneath the surface. Because a disciple who’s deeply rooted in Jesus doesn’t just move for God—they move with Him.
Being rooted isn’t necessarily about pausing the mission; it’s how God powers the mission. When your life draws strength from His presence, you can step boldly into whatever He calls you to—confident, steady, and full of courage.
All over the world, God is raising up followers who are both grounded and going. In Latin America, young leaders are discovering how to listen to God’s voice before leading others. In Africa and Asia, small groups are multiplying as believers share what they’re learning. In the U.S., students, families, and everyday disciples are stepping into their neighborhoods and workplaces with courage and conviction. Their impact doesn’t come from striving—it flows from staying connected to God, the Source.
The world doesn’t just need people who move quickly; it needs people who move faithfully. Disciples who know who they are and Whose they are. When your confidence is rooted in Jesus, you won’t burn out—you’ll bear fruit that lasts.
