Values + Beliefs
Loving God and loving people
Our two most important values come from the great commandment Jesus gave us: Love God, Love Others. The first reaches deep into our souls, while the second opens wide to the world around us.
Based on this commandment, we believe the greatest gift we can give the world is our intimacy with God, which forms the foundation for loving relationships with others.

Taking God at His Word.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only inerrant, authoritative Word of God. 2 Pet. 1:20–21; 2 Tim. 3:15–17; Matt. 24:35; 2 Pet. 3:15-16.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Eph. 4:4-6.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in his miracles, in His victorious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. Phil. 2:6–11; Luke 1:34–38; 1 Pet. 3:18; 1 Cor. 15:3–4; Eph. 1:20-22; Isa. 9:6–7.
We believe the only way for lost people everywhere to receive salvation and forgiveness of sins is through a personal faith in Jesus Christ marked by repentance. In this, regeneration or new birth and life by the Holy Spirit occurs, which is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful people. Rom. 3:23; Acts 4:11-12; Rom. 10:9; Mark 1:15; 2 Cor. 7:10; Titus 3:4–7 ; 1 Tim. 2:4.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. John 14:16–18; John 16:13; 1 Cor. 12:4, 11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 5:22–23.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: saved people unto the resurrection of eternal life and lost people unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:29; 1 Cor. 15:51-57; 2 Thess. 1:8-9; Matt. 25:41, 46; Rev. 20:15; Rev. 21:1-5.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. Eph. 1:22–23; Col. 3:11; 1 Cor. 12:12; John 13:35; John 17:21.
We believe that God unconditionally loves every person, whom He distinctly created in His image – as male and female. God’s intended design for marriage is a covenant commitment made between a man and a woman before God, which provides the foundation for family, reflecting the Gospel and character of God in society. Gen. 1:27; Mark 10:6-9; Col. 3:18-21; Eph. 5:21-33, 1 Cor. 6:19-20.
We believe that God uses ordinary people to have an extraordinary everyday, everywhere Kingdom impact – fulfilling the call of every Jesus-Follower – loving God, loving others, sharing the Good News, and making disciples of all nations. Matt. 9:10, 37; Acts 4:13; Acts 8:1, 4; Matt. 4:18-20; 1 Pet. 2:9; 1 Pet. 4:10; Matt. 22:37-39; Mark 16:15; Matt. 28:16-20; Eph. 4:11-12.
