Recently, I was adventuring with God, enjoying the discovery and doing it with the Lord.
Later that night, however, I started to feel a check in my Spirit. Something felt off. I went to the Lord in prayer and asked Him to show me what it was. Over time, the Holy Spirit revealed to me a specific part at the end of my adventure where I got off the path of His will, His way.
He showed me that at that point, He actually wanted me to pause, wait, and not forge ahead. I kept going and ended up out of His will, His way. I missed when He said stop. Acknowledging my mistake, I repented and received the Blood of Jesus, so grateful for His abundant grace covering me even though I got it wrong.
But this experience reminded me of a scripture where Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing.”
