1. God is Good
One of the foundational principles of Biblical giving is trusting in God’s goodness. From the beginning, God has given us good things, like life, the earth, and His love. Even after humanity fell away from Him, God demonstrated His goodness by sending Jesus to redeem us. Understanding that God is deeply good helps us trust His plan, including His teachings about generosity. When we believe in God’s goodness, giving becomes an expression of gratitude and faith.
2. God Owns Everything
The Bible reminds us that God is the Creator and Owner of all things.
