Forge Equipping

Hey friends & family,

I am reaching out to let you all know about an exciting opportunity this summer filled with ministry and training! My life has changed drastically these past few years and can only be credited to the love and grace of God. My hope is that countless others would experience God in the same way. God has ignited my heart to be a part of what He is doing in the world, which is to see people come to know Him. I believe that God is leading me to take this next step so that I can be equipped to steward my gifts and the way He has made me carry out His mission.

The opportunity is called Forge Equipping, which is a physically, emotionally, and spiritually intense discipleship training hosted by Forge (ForgeForward.org). We will be in both urban and rural locations where we will experience a variety of ministry opportunities, including an international mission trip to unreached people in Mexico. The whole process is designed to help me engage Jesus’ mission to those around me in my everyday life and to help others do the same.

I am not sure exactly what to expect, but I am eager to join God’s plan for me this summer. I will only be able to experience it with the help of others. My first request is that you pray for me as I prepare for this journey.

1) Pray that the Lord would prepare me physically and spiritually.

2) Pray that the Lord’s will would be done in and through me.

3) Pray that the Lord will provide for every need that arises as I step out in faith and obedience to His plan.

Secondly, I ask that you would consider partnering with me financially. I am aiming to raise $5000 by June 1. I am confident that God will move powerfully and teach me a lot this summer. I would ask you to prayerfully consider investing in what God is doing in my life. I believe that there is no better investment than in pursuing God’s plan and purpose.
