I Believe God Called Me to Vocational/Full-time ministry

You are responding to God's call

to full-time ministry, to be an “equipper” who empowers everyday believers for lives of impact!

We are celebrating with you, believing Jesus envisions incredible impact through your life, and encourage you to do the following right now or as soon as you can before the end of the day:

1 – Go to God with this prayer now:

“Lord, I am answering Your call to full-time ministry. I do not respond lightly but in surrender to Your will. I acknowledge many people are ill-equipped and that the primary responsibility of this calling is to equip and empower Christians for everyday ministry impact in their ordinary everywhere places. I ask for Your wisdom and discernment on my next steps!”

2 – read and reflect on these verses:

Matthew 9:36-38

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Ephesians 4:1

Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received.

James 3:1

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.

1 Timothy 3:8-10

Deacons, likewise, should be worthy of respect, not hypocritical, not drinking a lot of wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. They must also be tested first; if they prove blameless, then they can serve as deacons.

Ephesians 4:11-12

And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:16

For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am compelled to preach — and woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

2 Timothy 4:2-5

Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear. They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths. But as for you, exercise self-control in everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

1 Timothy 4:12

Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
