“Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. And when they had preached the Gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith.” – Acts 14:19-22
Have you noticed how quickly soldiers in battle run to help the wounded? Have you seen a teammate sprint across the field to give a hand up when players in a game are down? Teammates bring strength.
In this world, we are in a battle. Christian brothers and sisters, we need to be an uplifting hand to our teammates when they are down.
Paul was stoned so brutally they supposed he was dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. The Holy Spirit was at work, and his brothers brought such strength that Paul rose up after being stoned and left for dead! He then went into the city and beyond to preach the Gospel and strengthen others!

Have you been looking to see, stop, and spend time with brothers and sisters that need you to gather around them? Is there someone you can strengthen and encourage today?
