Forge Equipping

Hello Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you all well!  I am writing to let you know of a wonderful opportunity God has opened up for me.

This upcoming summer, I will be participating in Forge Equipping, a discipleship program.  It will start in Columbia, SC, on the campus of Columbia International University.  Our team will then go to Denver, CO for training.  There we will also lead camps for a week.  Following our time in Denver, we will head out to Mexico, where we will witness to locals, many of whom (and I know this is surprising) have never heard the good news of the Gospel.  

I first heard about this wonderful opportunity from a Forge speaker and mentor who goes to the church I’ve been attending during my time in Columbia.  At first, I was slightly intimidated by the idea of going to places I’d never been and sharing the Gospel with people I’d never met.  But, I felt called to step out in faith and pursue this opportunity, even though I have no idea what it will look like and I have never been on any mission trips.

I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me during this upcoming summer. I would highly appreciate your prayers.  Please pray during this time that God will draw me closer to Him and give me a newfound appreciation for His word, and embolden me so that I can unashamedly live out my faith.

I am also asking that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me financially.  I am working to raise $5600 to cover the total expenses for this program.  I know that God will provide the necessary means for me to pursue this calling He has placed on my life. I believe it will be a great way to learn more about His will for me. The fundraising deadline is June 1, 2023.
