Forge Firebrand

Dear family and friends,

As you know, we are living in very desperate times. People are looking for hope, searching for it everywhere! But many remain hopeless. The Bible predicted long ago that such times were to come. Those who have Jesus Christ as their Savior have hope. There are so many, though, who do not know Jesus. They remain hopeless.

I believe the scriptures are clear; that it is the call for every follower of Christ to share the good news of Jesus everywhere they go! It is only in this way that hopeless people will gain hope!  

I have been in ministry for more than a decade now, beginning in Haiti, where I am originally from, and now in the USA. I have been to places where no one would ordinarily go, but the love of God compelled me to go there. In these places I have seen how desperate people are for truth. I have been amazed by how quickly they embrace the message of Jesus Christ.

My burden for people in places like this, has only grown. My desire is to bring the message of Christ as far as I can. I want people to know that, even in the midst of all this turmoil, there is hope.

So, in my journey I have connected with a ministry called Forge. Forge is dedicated to raising up and equipping Kingdom Laborers (Matthew 9:35-38). They define a Kingdom Laborer as an ordinary person who carries the message of Jesus in their everyday life. Forge accomplishes this mission through resources, discipleship programs, and traveling speakers. You can learn more about Forge at ForgeForward.org

I am currently a speaker in training with Forge, officially called a Firebrand. As a Firebrand, Forge is training me to more effectively bring the hope and good news of Jesus to the lost AND also training me to equip others to do the same.

This brings me to why I am approaching you today. The Firebrand program costs $4000 per year plus some other travel expenses.  I believe this training is essential for me. It is already having a huge impact on my current and future ministry.

I have been so thankful for the opportunity I have had so far to be a member of this program and I am hoping that you will join me in making it possible for another year. God is doing magnificent work through Forge. Any kind of support will be a blessing: prayer, encouragement, gifts, including your presence.
