God's heartbeat and mission

Jesus changed everything for Nathan! This is a phrase he proclaims to everyone he meets.  

Nathan spent his whole life planning on becoming an engineer.  He longed for the American dream and all the comfort and security it has to offer. But, God had other plans. At the age of 19, Nathan’s life was radically changed as he encountered the living Jesus. He left behind his dream of a comfortable life to take on God’s call to carry the good news of Jesus near and far. 

Now, Nathan spends his time on a twofold mission: to proclaim the good news of Jesus to those who have never heard it and to equip other ordinary Christians to do the same. This mission has taken Nathan to some of the most dangerous and restricted countries on earth; he has lived with remote tribals, eaten meals with former terrorists, and been interrogated by warriors on the road. He also goes to many ordinary and mundane places. It’s not the adventure that draws him, but the call of God to proclaim and equip.  In these places, Nathan has seen God move in profound ways – from tribals becoming the first in their people group to believe, to shy middle-schoolers crying out to Jesus as their Lord.
