Forge Equipping

Hello friends and family!

I am reaching out today because I have experienced your deep love and care for me throughout my life and would love for each of you to be a part of my next steps in the future that God is leading me towards!

Last Fall (of my Junior year at CIU), Forge speakers came for a whole week. They poured into the students with love, truth, and missions. I was deeply moved all week! I grew to understand that God has given me a heart for the unreached in the world, those that have never heard the good news of the gospel. One year later, I have grown in my walk with God. I have decided to surrender everything to Him so he can utilize me for His mission to reach the world with the good news. That is how I was led to be a part of Forge Equipping next summer.

Forge Equipping is a physically, emotionally, and spiritually intense discipleship adventure hosted by Forge. It's filled with teaching by Forge Speakers, grueling team building, and outdoor adventures. Our destinations include both urban and rural locations where we will experience a variety of ministry opportunities. We will also take part in Forge's summer camp called Deep Camp and then wrap up with an intensive life-planning process that will help reveal how God has uniquely designed me to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. I also plan to attend a 3 week mission trip, reaching out to remote villages in the mountains of Mexico.

This is an amazing opportunity filled with inspiring ministry and intensive training! I am not sure exactly what to expect, but I'm excited to join God's plan for me this summer. Whatever it is, I will only be able to experience it with the help of others. My first request is that you pray for me as I prepare for this summer discipleship training mission.

1) Pray that the Lord will prepare me spiritually and physically.
2) Pray for the Lord's will to be done in my heart and through me in the lives of the people I connect with
3) Pray that the Lord will provide for every need that arises as I step out in believing obedience to His plan.

Secondly, I would ask that you consider partnering with me financially in this adventure. The total cost for this program is $5,600. I am confident that God has much to teach me this summer in and through my training at Forge Equipping, and I would ask you to prayerfully consider investing in my life.
