Forge Speaker Paul Epperson from Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he partnered with Forge Speaker Britton Bishop for a youth group night. Paul came to add a spark to something God was already building: a church with phenomenal leadership, students who genuinely love the Lord, and adult leaders willing to get on the floor and pray over their young people. People came to Christ, students walked through fear out loud, and adult leaders opened Scripture over them in real time. Afterward, one girl came up to Paul and shared that God had changed her life through the message. When a ready church and a team of laborers link arms, the Gospel moves fast.
Forge Speaker Melissa Motschenbacher reports from a MomCo event in the South Denver area, a ministry especially close to her heart because it was through MomCo, formerly MOPS, that she came to faith herself. The moms who gathered were engaged throughout, laughing together, sharing stories, and receiving practical tools and Scripture to help them and their children encounter God and build monumental moments with Him. By the end of the morning, one young mom surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. The ministry that once led Melissa to Jesus is now doing the same for the next generation of moms.
Forge Speaker Nathan Burd reports from an online training call with approximately 100 believers in Bangladesh, facilitated by Ashish, the on-the-ground contact who partners with Forge. Nearly half of those on the call responded, with many recommitting their lives to Jesus and others committing to be Kingdom Laborers. But the scope of what God is doing in Bangladesh reaches far beyond one call. Nathan shares that an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 people across the country have now heard the laborers message, committed to being Kingdom Laborers, or decided to follow Jesus. Ashish himself told Nathan that his city is different now because of what Jesus is doing there. One phone call opened the door, and God is multiplying the harvest far beyond it.
Forge Speaker Olivia Humphrey reports from a Life on Purpose conference in Brighton, Colorado, where people from all walks of life, ages, and backgrounds showed up hungry for what God had next. One man drove an hour after seeing an ad on Facebook. A woman who had been walking through the hardest years of her life had felt a growing call to share her story but could not find the boldness to step into it. This weekend, she found it, and she left with the courage and clarity to share her story and lead others to Jesus. God met each person right where they were, and then sent them out ready to go somewhere new.
